True Winds Healing A.R.T.S. is the creative culmination of my lifeworks. I have explored many areas of the healing and metaphysical arts and discovered through a Spiral Process (symbolized by the Nautilus shell) the way to integrate my personal style of consultations. I combine the arts of Astrology, Reiki, Theta Healing and Shamanism according to my clients’ special needs. This is a very successful dynamic, since I am the sole practitioner and these arts blend together as a creative synergy.

Overall, I envision the A.R.T.S. of this foundation as oracles: Astrology (oracle of stars), Reiki (oracle of hands), Theta Healing (oracle of subconscious mind), & Shamanism (oracle of nature). Oracles bridge to a higher consciousness and truth, like the great Oracle of Delphi in ancient Greece, so one may "Know Thyself." But, knowing thyself is not the goal; it is part of the process to transcending self. To let the e-go go, you must first know and understand it. So with that in mind, the oracles of A.R.T.S. can help raise your consciousness with seeds of enlightenment on your path to transcending self.

Astrology and Tarot: Diagnosing Your Soul's Purpose

Evolutionary Astrology is the foundation of all my astrological consultations, plus I have a special interest in Astromedicine. I graduated from the Jeffrey Wolf Green Evolutionary Astrology Program in Seattle, where I successfully offered professional astrology consultations. The premise of Evolutionary Astrology (EA) is that humans incarnate in a succession of lifetimes and the chart expresses the evolutionary condition of the soul at the time of incarnation, and essentially is the blueprint of the soul. The EA process includes clarifying soul purpose and other significant areas of life, such as, career, relationships, health, and life cycles. Because of my passion for healing, I specialize in Medical Astrology, with EA as its foundation. I utilize the astrology chart as a diagnostic tool for health and well-being. It can divulge the emotional and psychological dimensions of health and, thus, provide insights to the very roots of disease, deeper than the physical symptoms.

Astrology and Tarot are closely related with corresponding archetypes relating to the planets, signs and elements. Harmoniously, I often synthesize Tarot throughout my astrology consultations for deeper insights.

Theta Healing and Shamanistic Counseling

As a Theta Healer, my intention is to clear subconscious blocks, involving unhealthy core beliefs, for my clients. I am certified as an Advanced DNA Theta Healing Practitioner with additional certified training in the Manifestation and Abundance coursework. Theta Healing is like “Divine Hypnotherapy,” where the practitioner goes into the Theta brainwave state of consciousness to co-create a healing with the Divine Source for the client.

My style also involves Shamanistic Counseling, where I utilize Shamanic tools in my healings. My background in Shamanism includes an extensive mentorship with the Lakota Shaman, Char Sundust, in Seattle to practice journeywork, oracles, energetic and sound healing and herbs. I went on to complete workshops in the world renowned Harner Method of Core Shamanism. The drumming journeywork of Shamanism is similar to Theta Healing, since the sound of drums puts one in the Theta brain wave state. With Shamanic Counseling I address diverse circumstances, including integration with Astrology as my innovative method of Astroshamanism. Whereas, with Theta Healing I focus on Core Belief Reprogramming. Both have their spiritual and practical benefits, depending on the clients needs.

Healing Words

My greatest passions in life are poetry and healing. I am a published poetess and more importantly, a Poetry Therapist. I utilize poetry as a tool for developing self-awareness in my consultations. Through my cycles of processing trauma, I learned the healing benefits of writing and reading poetry. I trained with the National Association of Poetry Therapy to refine my writing experience to learn how to utilize poetry therapeutically for others.

Training in Eastern and Western Medicine

In my other life (so to speak), I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Iowa State University. After spending many years in professional sales & marketing, I have developed a realistic understanding of the "real world." I experienced over 10 years working for Fortune 500 companies and developed an extensive background in western medicine, working with nurses and physicians. I am grateful for those years because they helped me develop into the Practical Mystic that I am today.

A pivotal point in my life was learning the Japanese energetic healing method of Reiki. I am a Reiki Master/Teacher of the Usui Method and integrate different modalities in my Reiki classes/sessions, such as, meridians, chakras, sound healing & acutonics. Additionally, I studied & practiced with the Shaman and Qigong Grandmaster, Mingtang, for certification to teach the ZY Method of Qi Gong.

Currently, I am pursuing my passion for natural healing methods as a student at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine to study acupuncture, herbs and biomedicine. My residence is Ocean Beach of San Diego, with availability for consultations in person and by telephone. While my consultations do integrate the four facets of A.R.T.S., my main tool is Evolutionary Astrology (hub of my wheel). Tarot and Shamanistic Counseling are utilized as divine tools to enhance the astrological insights; however, I also utilize both of these methods, as well as Reiki, individually for profoundly effective sessions. Additionally, I teach classes on Evolutionary Astrology, Medical Astrology and Reiki in the San Diego area.

My Philosophy

My underlying premise is that by increasing our awareness about Truth, we increase our health. But, we must be patient patients and realize that health doesn’t always manifest in the stereotypical image, involving no physical symptoms. Sometimes, the physical symptoms of the body are the Compass to healing the soul. My overall vision is to keep going deeper & deeper into my Spiral Process, increasing my health and awareness, so that I may enlighten others to the TRUTH of their Life Path…With that in mind, maybe our paths will cross and align us both with the highest Truth…
