Together they merge into a complete consultation that speaks
about the full spectrum of your being, from the universal, cyclical nature
down to the present moment. This present moment is key and the basis from
which tarot resides. Its important to realize that I am no fortune
teller.
My foundation rests on the principle that you hold the
answers to your future from how you relate to the present: You change
your future through free will by changing your present. And this is
where Tarot is so powerful, as a mirror to your psyche at the present
moment. This phenomenon was explored by Carl Jung as exemplary of his
coined term, Synchronicity. The cards drawn at the moment
synchronize with your unconscious and the answers you hold inside.
Astrology and Tarot are closely related. The archetypes of the Tarot
deck are an outgrowth of the planets and signs of astrology. I often
use my Tarot deck, The Elemental Tarot, which has the corresponding
planets and signs on the individual cards. This reinforces and deepens
astrology reading tremendously. Some of my most profound Tarot consultations
are when they are used in combination with astrology. Both Tarot and
Astrology were forerunners for Jungs theories on Archetypal Psychology.
